The music will range from high-octane jazz standards to spacey funk. Aeronaut Brewery is a super-hip venue and a popular social scene for young people. The group plans to come back multiple times in the fall, but don't miss it!

Rock and Roll! Or whatever the jazz equivalent of that is...
It's been a long a cold, lonely winter (but maybe now the smiles will be returning to their faces, perhaps?) and we are ready to get back at it!
K2 is a double dose of vitamin K (some might say overdose) With my Pops, Peter K on vocals and bass, and myself on guitar, we will rock out like there's no tomorrow. Even though chances are pretty good there will be. It's an expression, roll with it.
We will rock out some jazz standards and maybe some familiar non-jazz tunes (we don't discriminate) and in general are looking to behave like two wild and crazy guys!
Back at the Art Lounge! Here's the excerpt from the Artlounge website:
Join us for a night of jazz standards and original compositions. Bring your creative spirit and paint, draw, sketch, doodle or write some poetry while you let the sounds of jazz wash over you.
Scott Samenfeld - Bass
Ethan K - Guitar
Karen Gruber - Congas and Percussion
Later in the evening, we will be joined by Todd Brunel on bass clarinet!
The father/son duo strikes again! Winter's always a good time to grab a warm drink (I'm sure Troy makes good warm drinks, this bartender can do anything), and curl up, or cut loose. Or do whatever it is you do when you rock out to some live jazz, because although this is a father/son duo, this ain't your grandpa's jazz. We throw down.
My pops and I have our nose back on the grind stone learning new (and old) tunes/songs, to keep making something fresh for our cozy Berkshires crowd. As always, Peter K (Aka Pops) on 5 string bass and vocals, myself playing guitar, and maybe sing a couple as well. We may or not have a special surprise guest....
I'm happy to have my 6 piece "groove-jazz" (whatever that means) back doing the Ryles scene again. This should be night to remember, featuring all sorts of new tunes, guests, and featured vocalists.
Alex Lee-Clark- trumpet
Aaron Gratzmiller- soprano and tenor saxophones
Ethan K- guitar
Brian Friedland- keys/piano
Pat Speece- electric bass
James Johanson- drums
and for the first time, joining my band, my dad, Peter K (the original K)
